Teaching

“The aim of all Christian education, moreover, is to train the believer in an adult faith that can make him a ‘new creation,’ capable of bearing witness in his surroundings to the Christian hope that inspires him.” – Pope Benedict XVI

My goal in teaching is not simply to pass along information, but to invite people into a way of seeing shaped by Scripture, Church history, and a living encounter with the One who still speaks. Formation matters more than mastery, so I work to open pathways of curiosity and faithful questioning rather than offering final answers. My background in spiritual direction deepens this posture, teaching me to listen well, discern what He may be stirring, and make room for honest reflection. I strive to stand within orthodoxy while still asking the hard questions that lead to growth.

I shape material as a story rather than a sequence of points. The great pattern of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration provides coherence without reducing complexity. Drawing from Scripture, Church history, theological tradition, and lived experience, I aim to help learners see the faith as a living, unfolding drama.

I work to create a reflective and spacious environment. I want learners to leave with deeper questions, a renewed sense of wonder, and a clearer sense of how to keep seeking truth in community with the Church and under the guidance of His Spirit. I thrive in liminal spaces where tensions live, trusting that these places often hold the richest opportunities for discernment.

My calling as a teacher is to open conversations rather than close them, helping people walk faithfully within mystery instead of rushing toward certainty. My aim is not to create experts, but to cultivate disciples who think, imagine, and discern with humility and hope.
